Say you got to a big event with lots of people, like a convention or something, you could use a service like this to keep in touch with all of your crowd informing your friends, family, business partners where you guys will be hanging out after the event. Or invite your group to a special additional last minute information session held in a restaurant.

Ok so for both examples were used in a “non marketing way” but here’s other ways that you can use it. On your business cards or flyers, you can tell people to send a text to a number to get a special gift, discount, bonus or surprise. The cool thing with these short code features is that you can have drip campaigns (aka autoresponders) to your list but via text message instead of e-mail.

Never Buy Website Traffic For Your MLM Website Until You Read This!

Buy Website TrafficIt’s imperative that you don’t buy website traffic until you read through this! Yes, it’s that important.

If you’re anything like I was back then, this is probably where you are. You’ve just recently joined an mlm or network marketing opportunity, they give you give you access to a website that you can customize, enter your name, upload a picture and put your contact information.

The rest of the website is all done by the rest of the team and it’s a super fancy awesome looking website promoting you.

After signing up, you’re super excited about the MLM opportunity, you can taste your dreams become reality. All you’ve got to do is enroll your friends and family, then the money’s going to start pouring in overtime.

After all, if you recruit 2, that recruits 2, that recruits 2, down at the 7th level you’ll have 254 reps each sending you $30 in commissions from recurring sales month after month for a monthly total of $7,620 for years to come.

Maybe you’re a little shy or don’t have too much business background but you know that now you have a super awesome website and all you’ve got to do is send traffic to that website and the sales will come in. I know, I was kind of like that back in 2000.

A lot of us hear about how easy it is to just have everything done on autopilot without lifting a finger. The hard reality is that it’s not true at the beginning. You first have got to build a strong foundation in your business before you get to that level. If you can’t recruit someone in your business, you’re website will not either.

There’s no point to buy website traffic if your website doesn’t convert visitors into purchasers. If your website is just an “online brochure” so to speak, with no call to action, you’re just going to waste your hard earn money or even worse, you’ll stack it up on top of your current debt, might as well go to the casino your odds will probably be better.

If you want to buy website traffic you must first understand how internet marketing works and that is to build “YOU” brand. That’s right, you’ve got to brand yourself online before you promote your company. People will not join companies, they will join people. You’ve got to become a leader and inspire or help people. Without giving value you’re not going to be rewarded in return. That’s just how it is.

At first (back in 2000) I thought my company site was giving value, but it’s not, sure it’s great at giving information and all but why would your lead, prospect, or paid website visitor join you when they can join any other reps from that mlm company?

Why should they follow you? What is it that you offer that’s different from all the other reps out there? In marketing we call that your “Unique Selling Proposition”.

Let me ask you, if you had to join under your company under yourself, would you do it? Or would you join under one of your super awesome upline? If you chose them over you, why is that? Could it be that they offer something pretty amazing, whether personally, charisma, leadership, etc?

I’m dead serious, if you’ve never done that before, how can you expect a positive return on your investment? There’s nothing worse than to watch the advertising spending accumulate, yet having no conversions (no body buying your stuff).

Leads OnlineGenerating leads online is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to grow your business. Let’s face it in order to grow your business, you must talk to people or get a whole lot of people’s eye balls on your offer.

Side Note! With digital advertising, it is important to create landing pages that your leads can see. A landing page targeted to match the advertisement driving the traffic, will show better results than being driven to the business site.

With digital advertising, you can track and measure which ad works best or not. It is also important to create landing pages that matches the topic your leads online are searching for.

Try not to send your prospects to a general website as your prospects may not know your site navigation and it may lead to confusion. If they click on your ad for something, give them the exact information that they’re looked for.

Depending on your business, you can also provide your leads online easy access to your contact information so they can be the ones initiating contact.

Use testimonials, past customer reviews and case studies to your advantage by displaying them on your site. If you’re starting out a new network marketing business and you don’t have any reviews yet, borrow someone else reviews. Nothing stops you from saying something like: “This is how so and so helped them achieve their health goals, fitness goals, financial goals or whatever.”

The more transparent you are, the more leads online will be able to relate and trust you. Don’t use ads that are over the top full of hype or sound unrealistic, be factual and honest about the value and benefits of your offers. When you are seen as credible and trustworthy, you will be able to generate more leads online this way.

Leads online are very valuable but some leads online simply won’t buy from you no matter what and that’s ok. It’s part of business. Make sure you qualify the leads online and turn them into qualified prospects that meet your criteria or you’ll be wasting time and energy. Choosing and dealing with the right leads online will dramatically improve your success.

Always make sure that the leads online you have are original. The more advertising techniques you use, the easier it is to have one lead slip through the cracks and become a duplicate. So just make sure that you don’t contact the same person twice, especially if they already bought your service or product or said “no” to your offer.

Set up a system where you can get fresh daily leads online so you can work your business. Remember, leads online are like the blood flow of your business. It’s wise that you make yourself a leads online budget and that you invest some time and money in this area otherwise your business may suffer from the lack of leads online.

Prospecting For MLM Leads To Grow Your Business

Prospecting for MLM LeadsIf you’re prospecting for mlm leads, you got to do it the right way.

Right now you’re probably used to talking to your friends and family, doing cold calls, chatting via instant messenger and there’s nothing wrong with those approaches.

Getting your prospect’s attention is not hard, it’s actually quite easy, all you got to do is say: “Hi”, they will pause and look at you waiting for you to continue.

The only things that can go right or wrong when you’re prospecting for mlm leads is what you say next.

Right from the start, if you pitch your opportunity right then and there, you already lost and there are so many reasons why. Here are a few of them:

  • You lost because you approached them with an offer which immediately puts them “higher” than you, they are in demand and you are viewed as desperate or needy. Even though it’s not the case, this is the reality of the approach. A good comparison to this would be if a guy sees a girl he’s never met, walks up to her and asks her to marry him right there on the spot. It’s makes the whole situation uncomfortable and awkward. Instead a “flirtatious game” should be happening.
  • They don’t know you that way. If it’s someone you know, they don’t know you with that new business attitude or mentality so they will not take you seriously on it because it’s not congruent with how they know you as a friend. Say you’re the joker of the group, an all of the sudden business attitude just sounds funny and not serious. The same if you’re the shy one or timid one and now you’re out talking to people, that’s just weird. If they don’t know you, well, exactly, they don’t know you so if you come with a pitch right away, they’ll feel like something’s fishy and you’re out to get them.
  • Here’s an example of an extreme fishy approach for illustration purposes only. Someone looking like a dirty bum comes up to you and asks you if you want to learn how to make millions, and get residual income for life and retire in 6 months. Are you seriously going to listen to them at all?
  • Now using the same example, let’s say Donald Trump or Tony Robbins (or anyone successful you like) comes to you and says the exact same thing. Will you give them a chance to talk more and listen to what they have to say?

The difference between these two scenarios is posture and positioning. One displayed non congruent body language to what he had to say and the other one is well respected and seen as an expert. So when you’re prospecting for mlm leads, more than likely, right now you’re approaching like the bum.

The secret to become the expert is to be in demand and to have your prospect properly qualify themselves to you before you pitch them anything. Essentially it’s about learning the skills of how to do lead generation to grow your business properly.

Look at job employers, they have potential employees send their resumes to them. Then they go through an interview process, then they might consider the applicant for work. Prospecting for mlm leads is a little different from the job analogy because you want to help your prospect figure out what they want through a series of rhetorical questions. Once they know what they want, then you can position yourself as the expert and offer a solution to their problems, or offer a wealth vehicle, say your network marketing opportunity. Hint! Hint! But you can only do that once you’ve delivered tons of value and helped your prospect figuring out what they want.

Prospecting For MLM Leads

When you’re prospecting for mlm leads, never ever put pressure on anyone to join your opportunity. Nothing good will come out of that and it will taint the network marketing industry with lots negativity. Don’t waste your precious time with non-interested people, life is too short. Instead focus your efforts on delivering value. Answer this questions: “What can I do today to give value and educate the world? What solutions can I come up with to the problems my prospects have?

When you position yourself as an expert, a problem solver you’ll find that prospecting for mlm leads will come naturally.

Lead GenerationLead generation should be the life blood of your business, whether traditional, direct selling or mlm. Without leads to prospect to, how can you expect to get any sales? Getting leads is so important to your business that it should be your number one priority.

If you think from a prospect’s perspective it can be a lot easier to figure out what they want and how to address them. A future customer generally starts the cycle by have a problem. They then try to figure it out and do more research to find a solution.  Once they feel comfortable with the solution that they’ve made, they move on to make a buying decision. And BAHM, voilà! A sale is made.

So, if you are able to offer good valuable educational content when they are making the research; and structure your offer around that, then you will be able to guide them into spending their money on your products or recommended products. Remember, you didn’t try to sale your prospect on anything, you simply offered a solution to a problem and the most important part to realize is that THEY came up with the buying decision by themselves.

People generally love to buy because they want to, it’s emotional and impulsive, however that being said, they also hate being sold, because that’s like telling them what to do which is perceived as bad.  Let me ask you: “Do you like to be told what to do?”  Exactly, neither does your prospect.

Lead Generation Done Right

Lead generation is more prone to happen if you’re seen as trustworthy. Do not use those “screaming” ads or do anything cheesy that incorporates too much hype, that’s so 1980. Instead, focus your efforts on the facts and benefits that show how valuable your products or services can be to the potential buyer. Be transparent and honest. Overtime people will get to trust you and know you. At this point they will be more likely follow what you recommend.

Side Note! Getting leads is important to your business. Consumers generally consider getting offers, search for information on it all, then figure out whether or not to buy it.

Always be aware of other people’s privacy and wishes. Be mindful of leads that chose against receiving additional offers and incentives. Basically don’t spam them otherwise, you may develop a reputation as a spammer and you really don’t want that.

Make sure when your prospect’s e-mail goes into your autoresponder, it follows the law (USA, Canada) and e-mail etiquette: like unsubscribe button, company info, etc.. A Company like Aweber is an industry leader when it comes to building and creating your lead generation campaigns and it works great with any traditional or online businesses.

If you’re looking more at generating your own leads for your network marketing or mlm opportunity, then I would strongly suggest that you take a closer look at the MLSP platform. MLSP a leading provider lead generation system that I personally use.  The value I get in terms of internet marketing training, services, pre-written autoresponder ad copy, pre-done for me landing pages, etc. by far supersedes all my expectations and is a must have for my business.

If you are “buying leads” or doing “co-registrations” always confirm that the leads you get are original so you don’t pay for duplicates. It’s quite easy for a lead to end up multiple times in your lead generation process. But don’t get hung on this, companies are good for that, I mean, if that situation happens, they will usually replace the duplicates at no costs.

Side Note! If you plan on using digital advertising for your lead generation, make sure you set up landing pages for your potential prospect to land on. A good landing page is one that a prospect expects to get something of value in exchange for an e-mail.

Ok back to local offline lead generation techniques; try talking with other similar business owners in your area and let them know about your products or services. Ex: if you are a knowledgeable landscaper, you could talk to a house builder and have them recommend your services to his clients. Personal trainers can talk to dieticians so they can have a complete program tailored for the person who wants to lose weight through diet and now exercise. If you’re a lawyer, you could talk to realtors, etc.

The point is to offer great value to the other business owner’s customers without competing against each other. So if you are an expert in a particular field, don’t be afraid to share your insights and knowledge with other professionals in your community.

In summary there are many ways for lead generation to occur using today’s creative methods and networking with other people. Using today’s technologies automates the process and facilitates tremendously maintaining your leads database according to the law.

You should now have a better idea on how to do well with lead generation. Take that new knowledge and put it to good use immediately. Taking action now will help you achieve your goals sooner.

If you’re in MLM, we all heard the line: “Talk to your friends and family about your business opportunity!” and I mean, it’s great, it’s a strategy that worked in the past for tons of people however it’s not the only way out there.  What if you’ve exhausted that method already and you’ve literally talked to everyone.

To be successful in business, your MLM business has got to be treated professionally.  The pros don’t put pressure on their friends and family when they said: “No” they choose to go with MLM lead generation instead.

Before you spend any money on leads you’ve got to consider the value of creating your own MLM lead generation system in the first place.

Side Note! Look to affiliate marketing to generate leads and even customers. Why do all the work for leads when you can have others do it for you on commission? Affiliate programs are a very effective way of introducing your product to new audiences.

MLM businesses have had a pretty bad reputation over time because of poorly trained representative over selling the hype of financial freedom with no effort.

Very few people have ever achieved that level of success in any MLM business or been able to maintain their top performance over a period of time.  But that holds true in any business models; how many hockey players dreams to be in the NHL?  What about investors, how many people want to have the same level of success as Donald Trump, Tony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki and the list goes on!

But that being said, it doesn’t make the MLM opportunities, that can be afforded by the average person, a bad way to make extra money or even change your lifestyle dramatically.  You got to have good work ethics and work smart.

Nothing compares to an effective MLM lead generation process that collects both a phone number, email address and a few qualifying answers to questions such as “How much can you invest to get started” or “How soon do you want to get started” or When is the best time to contact you?”.  These are usually called long form surveyed or short form surveyed, depending on how big their questionnaire was.  Clearly, if a prospect answers these types of questions, you’re dealing with higher quality lead.
Side Note! The best way to generate leads is to ask people you know for referrals. It doesn’t matter if you’re a wedding planner or a car salesman, let people know what you do and ask if they know anyone who may need you.

These are some of the best MLM lead generation qualities. Be careful when choosing a place to get your leads as some of them can be bad leads.  If a company offers a free prize to answer questions, those leads are in it for the free prize, not the opportunity, those are bad leads.
