How To Write For Search Engines & Human Visitors

Write For Search EnginesIt’s important to understand that in order to fully optimize your article to appear on the top of the search engines you need to have a combination of “on-page” factors and “off-page” factors that are met.

In this article I’ll focus on the “on-page” factors. If you’d like to get more information on the “off-page” factors check out my backlink tools article.

Humans read and see the content that you post on your blog, so it’s important for your content to makes sense.

But if you write with only humans in mind, you’re forgetting about the search engines spiders, which are the robot algorithms that read and index your content based on clues that you give it, which is all HTML code (the behind the scenes or under the hood of your website).

Luckily, we don’t have know all this code but it’s important that you understand where to give the index spiders, the maximum clues so they can properly index your website for the keyword that you want.

Keep in mind that you don’t want to only speak to the index spiders because then your article will make no sense to a human reader.

Search engines are smarter than you think, they will measure a visitor’s time spent on a page and if everyone clicks away within the first seconds, it means that your content sucks, therefore you will not be rewarded with a higher rank and other competitors will surpass you.

So it is very important that you balance the way your write. Here’s a list of guidelines that you can follow for your page to be fully optimized. Remember, our goal here is to make sure we give enough clues to the index spiders to let them know what our page is all about. Aim for an article with a minimum of three hundred words.

Then, have your keyword:

  • in your URL slug, so after the .com/keyword
  • at the beginning of your title (H1)
  • in the first line of your first paragraph
  • aim to have about 4 to 7% keyword density (which means for every one hundred words, have four to seven of them be your keyword, lower is ok, but don’t exceed 7%)
  • in a sub title (H2)
  • in bold or underline in one or two of your sentences (Optional but it doesn’t hurt. Don’t do it for every keyword)
  • at least once in your last paragraph and possibly your last sentence.
  • as your image name (before uploading your image, save it as your keyword)
  • in the alt text of your image, (these two are so easy that you should make it a habit to always have an image with its alt text)
  • in the title of your video, if you have one
  • in your meta title
  • in your meta description
  • in your meta focus keyword

Finally, have a couple of external links that points to high quality sites. Sure it may drive some traffic away but remember it’s about giving the visitor a good experience by delivery quality information. When people love your style, they will come back and search engines will notice that behavior.

Write For Search Engines Continued

Moving on, at first it can be confusing to try to remember where to put what and in what order because writing for the spiders is un-natural. But, overtime, you’ll be better at it and you’ll understand the balance. Now, for me it’s like second nature, I just know and understand the flow of things.

Again, these are guidelines and can be altered depending on your article. I have articles that are perfectly balance 50-50. While others could be 75-25 either way, at the end of the day you want to give value to your audience and the more value you give, the more you’ll get repeat visitors with social shares, etc.

A combination of all these factors will be taken into play when your website is “evaluated” by the index robots.

In order for me to follow these steps, I use a plugin called WordPress SEO by Yoast, where it helps me visually to see if I answered all the requirements mentioned above by using green, orange or red circles next to the guideline. Most of the time now it’s always green.  🙂  Now if I can do it and follow this easy system, so can you.

Well, that’s pretty much it for how to write for search engines and visitors. It shouldn’t be more complicated than following those guidelines. If you have any questions come reach out to me on my Facebook.com/givogue.andre

What about you, after understanding this, how will your writing for search engines and visitors improve?

Submit Website To Google And Get Indexed

Submit Website To GoogleI remember back in the dinosaur days of the internet I wanted to submit website to Google but it the process was so long and tedious. It was more of a hoping and waiting game. Oh wait, it’s still like that.

To register site with Google, Google says you can submit your site to Google by going to:

https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url

Which in theory is true but in reality, it’s like a hit or miss attempt. They even tell you on their site and I quote:

Google adds new sites to our index, and updates existing ones, every time we crawl the web. If you have a new URL, tell us about it here. We don’t add all submitted URLs to our index, and we can’t make predictions or guarantees about when or if submitted URLs will appear in our index.”

Let’s recap and break down what really goes on here. It says that Google constantly add new sites and updates existing ones every time their spiders crawl the web. But they also say if you submit your site, it’s hit or miss and they don’t know how much time it can take before your site get’s indexed.

In the past, I’ve seen sites take anywhere from 6 to 9 months before a site get’s indexed and if you’re like me, that’s just too long of a wait. I remember telling myself: “I’m sure there’s a better way to submit my site to Google” and it got me thinking.

When it comes to internet, like everybody, I want it now!  haha  So after crunching my mind around it, I’ve discovered an awesome little trick, that worked pretty well for me, to get indexed and listed in Google in less than 10 minutes.

It’s actually so simple that now looking back at it, it’s actually pathetic at how much thought I put into it just to figure out this simple 2 step formula. But hey, when you don’t have anybody to point you in the right direction and that you got to figure out everything yourself, sometime it takes much longer.

My learning curve would have certainly been a lot shorter if I had somebody with a similar channel to show me the ropes when I first started.

So the best way to submit website to Google is to feed the spiders. That’s it, step one, create your website, step two feed the spiders. Pretty simple! Ok, ok, it is pretty simple but only when you understand what I mean.

Submit Website To Google Continued

But before I jump in the “how to submit website to Google” 2 steps explanation, allow me to explain the rationale behind how and why it works through a simple analogy.

You, sitting at the bench in the park, represent your website. The pigeons around you, represents the Google spiders (also known as the Google bots that crawls the web, they call them spiders because they crawl the web, get it? Yeah programmers were really original back then but that’s beside the point).
Second, patients who have difficulty swallowing tablets prefer tadalafil 40mg india a tasty gel. Sender verification may need to be purchase cheap viagra disabled if your financial institution often sends emails without a reply-to address. The main ingredient of that sildenafil uk buy is Sildenafil Citrate. Cinnamon, a spicy ingredient in food recipes is an effective herbal remedy in lowering blood glucose viagra online stores level.
If you submit your site through the Google indexing website, it’s like you getting off the bench and start running after the pigeons hoping to catch one. It’s like your waving your hand and calling the spiders to come check out your site. Good luck, they will run and fly away.

Sure over you’ll catch a few, but it’s really a hit or miss. If you wanted to catch pigeons, the best way would be to lure them in with food, the food represents an RSS feed. So the food is a bait, you throw it out there and they come in, closer and closer. The pigeons know that the closer they get to the source, the more food they can get and there you go, you’ve got new friends.

The RSS feed is a way to take all the information (or food) on your website and stream line it through hose to any another websites. In our case we want to bait the Google spiders, so what better way to find them to look with an RSS Reader. The RSS Reader is like the spot around the pond where all the pigeons hang out.

There’s no point in sitting far way when you can sit closer. So create a free RSS Reader account, and plug your RSS feed in the reader.

As soon as you do that that, Google will send out spiders to crawl your site to see what’s your content so it can display it in the RSS Reader and as soon as the content gets displayed, that means the spider’s have crawled your website and your site should be indexed.

In summary you can submit website to Google by first creating your site then connecting your RSS Feed through the RSS Reader. This will attract the spiders to come check out your site right away and the side effect of that is that your site will be indexed.

And that my friend is how to get you indexed in Google. If you want to learn more information on how to rank first for you keywords then I recommend you check out my video about search engine optimization.

What about you, what is your new website about? Share it in the comments down below.

Here, I found an old video that I did a long time ago showing you exactly how to rank first for your name, don’t mind the music.  😛

Backlink Tools For Search Engine Optimization

BacklinkBacklinks are one of the most important “off page” search engine optimization factors measured by the search engine. In order to be at the top of the search engines nowadays you must have high quality PR Ranked pages that points back to your site.

Essentially that works like a “third party approval” or someone else vouching for your site. It’s like a catch 22, you need traffic, visitors and other website owners to point to your site in order to rank high in the search engines but you need to rank high in the search engines in order to get lots of traffic, visitors and other website owners to point to your website.

So before we get lots of visitors and other website owners pointing back to our site naturally, we have to manually engineer authority on the internet. The way we can achieve that is to:

  • Post on to social sites
  • Post on social networks
  • Post on social bookmarks
  • Create web 2.0 profiles, write and post a new unique article with a link that goes back to our own website.
  • Create forum profiles and engage in conversations
  • Send out a press release to press release sites
  • Create other Worpress blogs, again writing unique articles and linking them to your site
  • Participate in Wiki sites
  • Create PDF documents and make them available for other people to download
  • Participate in Google Places
  • Create videos about your content and put your website in your description
  • Create podcast and publish audio content
  • Submit articles in article directories with your website in the author link box
  • Submit your site to directories
  • Create your RSS Feed
  • Ping your site

By doing these techniques, you will get the “link juice” from those high PR Ranked pages point back to you. Again in all those techniques above, you’ll want to create new accounts with new e-mail addresses and sprinkle your website link in the new content you’ve created. This part is the most boring, long tedious and just sucks your time away. Yet it’s so important and crucial in your backlink strategy.

Note of caution stay away from software that wants you to install a script on your website to automate the backlink process by creating directories on your site. This is a technique that used to work around 2005 but it’s been abused and now the search engine will penalize you for doing something like that. It’s considered “spam” in their eyes.

Ok so what if you’re super busy and just don’t have time to do all that? Well, again, I’ve got some pretty awesome news for you my friend. You see, everything I just explained to you is how an amateur would go about it. They’d read that backlinks are important, they’d figure out they have to do that and off they go for hours upon hours of work.

For us professionals, we automate that whole process with tools that can actually do all that tedious work for us. Now there are all kinds of tools available out there and based on experience and additional research they all vary in services they give you. So without further due, here’s a review of some of the best tools on the market today.

By  far, the best of the best in my opinion is SEnuke XCr. SEnuke offers a 14 days free trial then for their full service the price is $147 per month and on the low end of their service $67 per month. I personally use the $147 per month plan as it’s the best bang for your buck. The reason I do internet marketing and work from home is to leverage my time fully automate the process as much as I can so I can enjoy time freedom; besides my time is worth more creating valuable informative videos than creating accounts.

SEnuke’s easy to use, user friendly wizards and clean layout makes the whole process take 30 seconds. Enter your website, your keywords, the tags, and it’s done. SEnuke combined with Article Builder, writes unique good quality articles, spins them together, it goes in and creates email accounts, social accounts and pretty much everything I mentioned above, verifies all the e-mail addresses, automatically fills out captchas, you know those little box with an image that asks you to confirm you’re a human being by filling out the words on the images, submit and post your fully automated written articles everywhere. It truly is peace of mind and set and forget technology.

Their support is awesome and they have an awesome training section if you want to go in deeper and apply different strategies. They do all that in socket mode which means it’s all in the background and use less bandwith. If you’re in business, this is the way to go. Now, if you’re a small business and budget is an issue, I don’t recommend the $67 version, there are better solutions out there that I will cover so stay tuned.

The next one on my list is Magic Submitter. It’s very similar to Senuke but less automated, there’s a little bit more of work and little greater learning curve. They offer easy to use click and drop campaign (similar SEnuke). The price is $67 per month and you can start with a $4.95 first month trial. Remember I was saying some are a little cheaper money wise, but you have to compensate with more of your time. This service offers you a way to spin the articles and pretty much all services and software offers you that however it doesn’t write it from scratch. You have to provide an article and spin it. They do give you tons of free private label rights articles that you can use and spin. So you don’t have to write everything articles from scratch but still requires some times.

My 3rd choice would be SERobot. It goes for $20 per month so if you really are on a tight budget, this still offers an automated way to create account and spin articles. It’s got good training and clean user interface. In this one however they don’t give you private label rights articles. No turbo wizard so a little bit more of a learning curve also. But this would be my third choice for a super affordable solution. Requires a more time but can definitely get the job done.

Other Backlink Tools

Here are other SEnuke XCr alternatives and more solutions available out there. I’m giving you these additional solutions because I encourage you to do your own research to figure out what’s best for you based on your needs and available budget.

Brute Force SEO EVO fully automated kind of SENuke, 5 day $1 trial, then $157 per month or  $87  per month on the low end. There’s not a lot of demonstration of the software on the actual site.

Rank Builder $4.95 then $67 per month

Ultimate Demon $47 per month or $397 one time fee, no link with article builder no, little bit of a learning curve, no turbo wizard

Seo Link Robot, $27 per month

Sick Submitter, 3 day free trial then 19.99 per month, uses internet explorer browser when doing the work  instead of socket, which takes more bandwith and makes it slower. You have to manually go in and create emails, then bring back the e-mail to the profile.

Side Note! In my opinion SEnuke XCr is the best bang for your buck. This is what a lot of the pros in the internet marketing world uses to create their backlink campaigns

By choosing a small and easily attachable device, you will have more options for adapting Check This Out sildenafil bulk the locator to each child’s needs. A viagra no prescription online http://appalachianmagazine.com/2017/12/02/which-way-ville-making-sense-of-wytheville-virginias-interstate-routes/ professional and experienced physician may recommend the best ways to keep the treatment safe for you. The main difference is that the positive results of prescription products are far generic levitra for sale view over here less than the non-prescription ones. The drug is designed especially for treating a certain type buy levitra without rx of heart disorder, kidney disorder, diabetes, high levels of cholesterol and high blood pressure.

XRumers – Starts at $290 for their Lite, $650 for their Standard and $900 for their business. All packages you have to pay an extra $10 monthly fee.

GSA SER Goes for $99 one time fee. Really not user friendly, looks like you need to  be a programmer, it’s a very powerful software but looks busy, cluttered and hard to navigate. Way bigger learning curve, doesn’t intergrate with content builder. Lot’s of set up and I would recommend for more advanced users and limited to no training included.

Scrapebox ($97) Looks like a powerful tool to harvest information automatically from the internet

Licorne AIO is $150 I really don’t like their website, it’s very slow, there’s no video tutorials on their site, hard to navigate

Article Marketing Robot is $157 aka AMR for short, automates account creations but you have to manually click on verify.

There were tons more but lots of them when out of business. Either they’ve had bad marketing practices, poor support, not enough paid subscribers, etc.

Remember, it’s not because a software is less money per month that it’s cheaper. You have to consider your time, your effort, your research, the learning curve and/or if you hire a staff to operate the software and work on that part of your business meaning that there’s more cost associated to run the less pricey ones them.

If you don’t want to purchase any of the softwares you can also outsource backlinking on Fiverr. This guy does SEnuke basic campaigns at $5 and the Full Monty v4 template for $25 (this is the recommended one).

Finally after you chose the one that’s right for you then I recommend you get WebFire $99 per month or $500 per year for a lot of additional ways to get traffic to your site. This should be used as a supplement to the submitters you’ve just learned about.

What about you, how are you doing your current backlink campaigns and will that change? Share your thoughts.

Generating Content Ideas For Your Website

Generating ContentGenerating content on a daily basis, especially when you’re starting out can be challenging. At first, you don’t really have interaction with your newly created community because, well, it doesn’t exist yet.

So you have to do a “brain” dump of all the valuable information that you know that could be useful for others. Keep in mind that the information you know and seem to take for granted is worth gold in the eyes of someone who doesn’t share your experience.

Every successful business person I know can agree to that. It starts small but with a dedicated routine and following your plan of action you can create significant results. We’ve all been there (yes, me included). As you put your ideas on paper or in a brainstorming application, these will be the seeds of your next content ideas.

Overtime you’ll notice people will start asking you questions or ask you to elaborate on a specific topic and when you get to that point, it’s like a snow ball that turns into an avalanche. You’ll have more questions or discussion that comes in faster than you can post the content out. As your leadership skills grow, you’ll know that you have a strong community when your audience are participating and interacting with you and others.

You will be viewed as a leader and person of influence and when you get to that point, people will follow you to the top of your network marketing opportunity.

Well before you get to that point, you’ve got to build value by generating content but sometimes you’ll get writer’s block, meaning you’re just not sure what to talk about. Behind The Scenes Of A Work From Home Day

Behind The Scenes

Behind the scenes of a work from home day is kind of difficult for me to explain what a work day looks like when I work at home. Seems like I just stay home and do nothing all day but au contraire, a work day has many steps and I have to complete all of them. Today I will take you behind the curtains and show you what really goes on behind the scenes.

You’ll see my daily routine and how I structure and manage my time efficiently. After all to get results, this type of work is pro-active and performance based.

Ok so let’s get into it.

It all starts with the set up. I move my furniture around to align the camera and teleprompter for the best shot possible (sometimes I move that later on, like when it’s time to shoot).

Next, I open my blog and log into the back office of my website, once I’m in, I click add a new post to get started.

From there, I open my keyword research tool (Market Samurai) and I do my keyword, check out, what’s the competition, what people are looking for online, I assess my competition and I look what it’s all about, if there’s a keyword I’m not sure about, I just go check it out and see what it’s all about and from there I assess what my competition is so I can make an informed decision on which keyword to target.

After that’s done, I open up some Private Label Rights articles that I have and do research on the internet to get my mind creative and get brainstorming ideas. I read some stuff and what I like I talk about it in my article and just start to write.

I like to get ideas and point to Wikipedia as it’s known as an authority site online therefore when I point to it from my blog post, I’m perceived as a publisher who gives a great user experience to my readers therefore am rewarded in search rankings.

Sometimes you get writer’s blog but that’s ok, that’s normal, you can take a little break, come back or just plow through that. Once your article is done, you want to make sure your keyword is in your meta tags, so title, description, keywords, images etc that’s really important for SEO. When you get your images, make sure you use images that are a part of the public domain, or make sure that the copyrights allow you to have them on your site. Once you have your image, rename it with your keyword.

When I talk about different tools or products, I like to find various resources available on the internet. From there I look if they have an affiliate program available. This means that if someone coming from my website buys something from them, then I’d get a percentage commission on it. That’s one way of many ways to monetize your blog.

My rule of thumb is that if I’m talking about one service or product, I like to offer my readers the choice of various opportunities and not “pressure” them into one. By giving 2 or 3 choices, then the reader makes their own decisions.

I keep track of all my work in an Excel document. In there I right the names of my saved articles, if I recommend products, the link of my blog site, Youtube URL and many other things related to that piece of content.

Coming back to my article writing, it’s good to take a look on the actual website, that way you get an idea of the look and feel to see if you’re going in the right direction.

Once I’m happy with my article and it’s published on my blog, now it’s time to make the video. I copy my article into Word, save it on my memory stick and put it into my other laptop with the teleprompter software, set-up the camera and teleprompter then I’m ready to go.

I change into more presentable clothes (shirt and tie usually) for a good first impression. Turn on the lights, then action. I get started. What I like about having the teleprompter is that it keeps me sharp, I don’t fluff talk, I don’t side track, I’m very precise, stay on target and I actually really, really enjoy it that way.

Behind The Scenes After Filming

After I’m done recording (which is the fastest part, big chunk of the day goes into writing and preparation), I take everything from the camera and upload it into the computer so I can start editing in my video editing software. I personally use Sony Vegas but there are many other good ones out there.

The first thing to do when editing your video is to cut all the scrap out. So bloopers, tongue twisters, distraction noise, telephone interruptions, etc. All that’s got to go! So you keep it nice and clean and precise.

Side Note! The reason I like to add videos to my blog is to get that personal feel. People get to connect with you a little bit more I find. If you just write an article, it can be seen as a little impersonal whereas with videos, people can relate to you.

viagra on line sales From color to patterns, there are many variants of bike accessories in market and you can select according to your personal style and likings. This pain is secondary to the underlying pathology and when the muscles are massaged, given acupuncture etc, there is temporary relief but the pain always comes back, as the muscles are now relaxed and enables continuous flow of blood which causes impotency. sildenafil generic canada Kamagra tablets have enabled millions of ED sufferers in the UK actually seek treatment. viagra 50mg no prescription is used to treat men’s erectile dysfunction. levitra australia Communication plays an important part in educating the people.

Coming back to the video, when I talk about specific companies or sites, I like to take screen shots and insert them in the video. So when I talk about it, my viewers can get a visual reference. It also gives it a clean professional look. It kinds of separates you from the rest, you’re going the extra mile.

When I do the final play, I double check for any mistakes, quite often you’ll pick up on a few things so you just go in and re-adjust. Once everything is to your liking then it’s time to render. It takes a little bit of time for that however you don’t have to be there the whole time it renders, you can do something else.

Next you want to do your “poster” or your Youtube thumbnail while you’re uploading your video on Youtube. Update the thumbnail image with yours, copy and paste your article in the Youtube description, put in the tags (same as your keywords), add it to your playlist (optional), then click publish.

When I’m done that, I take the Youtube URL, then embed it into my blog post, take note of it in my master Excel worksheet and voilà! A brand new article with great content has been posted.

That’s what I do every day, that’s my process.

In conclusion, my day is broken down into 6 sections, brainstorming, writing, publishing, recording, editing and uploading. A typical work day is about 6 hours of productive work (if you don’t count any breaks or education) but sometimes can go up 8 or 9 hours depending what I’m doing.

In my case I chose to do one video and blog post per day from Monday to Friday but if you want to do it part time, nothings stops you from doing like 2 or 3 per week. The idea here is to have a schedule and be consistent.

What about you, what does your behind the scenes look like?

Article Marketing Secrets To Get More Traffic

Article MarketingArticle marketing is another form of promotion that exists online. Essentially, you write an article, post it on an article directory and allow other people to take your article and post on their site as content.

Side Note! Get some feedback from your readers. People like having a say in the way things are run.

There’s so many tips and tricks available to make article marketing work out there that it can be somewhat confusing at first but don’t worry I’ll make it simple for you.

When you write an article for the article directories, try to write about timeless materials. Don’t write about a technical step by step way of doing things on a specific site because the internet, websites and software are constantly evolving. Instead talk more about concepts that won’t change over time.

  1. Come up with interesting catchy title for your articles. A great headline will draw more attention to viewers and will entice them to want to read your article.
  2. Make sure your article is well organized. Use an awesome introduction paragraph, use bullet point to put more emphasis on the important points.
  3. Keep your article simple to understand. Don’t use complicated words. Make it so an 8th grader could understand what you’re talking about. Remember the people who are looking at your article don’t know all the fancy lingo, hence why they were looking for more information in the first place.
  4. After that’s done, re-read your article a couple times. Take a little break or go for a walk, come back so when your mind is fresh, you can re-read it and see if there’s anything that needs to be changed.

When that’s all done, you’re now ready to post to article directories such as Ezine Article or Go Article. If you search for “Article Directories” online you’ll find tons more places where you can promote your articles.

Search Engine Optimization Tips To Get Leads & Traffic

Search Engine OptimizationSEO is short for Search Engine Optimization and according to Wikipedia: “search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine’s “natural” or un-paid (“organic”) search results.”

In other words, you modify the text and your html code on your website to give it more chances to be seen for a specific keyword. The goal is to make it better than your competition so you can be above them in the search results.

When it comes to online marking strategies, very few can beat search engine optimization (SEO). By optimizing your website for search engines, the amount of targeted, organic traffic it receives can increase significantly. Here are some SEO tips that will help you on your way to becoming a SEO expert.

Side Note! A great way to ensure your search engine optimization is simply to provide useful, informed and fun content which will appeal to your customers. This is often overlooked, but is important because search engines often change their algorithms, to ensure they’re providing more relevant information to their users.

Here’s a quick crash course on the subject. I won’t go into all the technical aspects as this would be a full lesson on its own, instead, I’ll get straight to the point. There are 2 categories within search engine optimization:

The first one, is “on page” search engine optimization factors (which you have full control of.) This includes anything under the hood of your webpage that the index crawler bots sees such as, meta tags, meta title, meta descriptions, meta keywords and what people see title, keyword density ratio, fonts, outbound links, frequency of new posts, etc.

The second one is “off page” search engine optimization factors and these are beyond your control in the sense that you can’t control it directly. This is mainly measured in the back links that points to you, time a visitor stays on your page, time a visitor stays on your full site (from one page to another), the bounce rate, etc. The search engine’s algorithms measure all these stats and give each site a rank according to their score.

If a site that is ranked high points back to your site, you get what’s called a quality back link, it’s like a site with credibility is vouching for yours; you get more credibility by association. The rank goes from 0 to 10, ten being the highest, zero being the lowest.

To give you an idea and put things in perspective, 100 back links from a site with a rank of 0 equals 1 back link from site with a rank of 1. The same is true for the rest so; 100 back links from a site with a rank of 1 or 10,000 back links from a site with a rank of 0 equals 1 back link from the site with a rank of 2 and so forth.

Search Engine Optimization Techniques Are Always Changing

Search engine algorithms are in constant change and what may have worked one day, may no longer be accurate the next. The safest way is deliver great content for human beings and not spam the search engines.

Side Note! Besides making sure to update your website daily, you should be providing fresh links to different websites. If you update your links daily, people will be coming to your website to get the latest links to all the new websites, which will increase search engine optimization.

Be smart with where you place the keywords in your site. Makes sure to place them in areas of your sites such as titles, URLs, content, image names, etc. Think about what terms your visitors would use to find your content and what they’d expect to see when they arrive on that page.

To optimize a website for search engines, sometimes it can be helpful to modify the website content. By frequently incorporating phrases and words that oftentimes, tend to be entered as search terms into the search engines.

To increase your website’s search engine traffic, be sure to add new content on a regular basis. Updating your page means that search engines will crawl it more often and that your site will receive a better score. New content also means new keywords, which will give users more ways to discover your site.

Side Note! Once you get your site ranked where you want it you can never stop working on search engine optimization. If you aren’t improving your site then you are degrading its effectiveness.

Always be aware of your website rank. You can use sites like Alexa Rankink and Google Page Rank to keep track of whether you are losing or gaining visitors and it will allow you to find out if your optimization is having an effect.

Once set up on your website, Google Analytics is a great way to view and track your visitors. Things you should look for include what keywords people are using to find your site in search engines and what websites are referring you.

SEO means you organic traffic, which means free traffic that you’re not paying for. Imagine getting 50 visitors per day from the organic search results compared to a cost per click of $1.50 that would be $75 per day, $2,250 per month in savings that you didn’t pay. When you optimize your website properly, it’s there for the long run, generating you leads and sales for your business.

Side Note! For search engine optimization, remember to carefully research exactly what keywords you are going to put on your website. Having strong, effective keywords that relate well to your content is the best way to draw new visitors to your site, as it will help you rank higher in search engines.

That being said, as the search engines become smarter and smarter, simple “on page” tricks are not enough to make you an authority online. There’s a way to rank on the first page of the search engine and if you implement that for your business you will see significant amount of qualified visitors.
