Best Cloud Storage To Back Up Your Computer

Best Cloud StorageFinding the best cloud storage can be challenging but first, let’s look at why it’s important we even consider putting our backup on the best cloud storage. Having a backup for our computer is now critical to protect our digital goods. Think of a backup as an insurance policy to protect your priceless valued moments.

If it didn’t happen to you yet, knock on wood because it’s just a matter of time. It’s like a ticking time bomb counting down every day and when it blows up and your computer breaks you will go nuts and it’s something I never wish to anyone.

That is to lose all your personal data, countless of memories stored in photos and videos all gone because a virus wiped out all of your information or even worse, your mechanical hard drive broke down.

How much are your memories, previous work and everything else that you stored on your computer worth to you? I know for me it priceless so was whatever the price of the hard drive repair was. Yes, it did happen to me, my hard drive broke down and I am a victim of losing all my data.

Luckily for me, computer repair specialists where able to take another hard drive, take it’s working parts and surgically switch them with the other malfunction pieces from my original drive. Kind of a heart transplant.

With the temporary repairs, they were able to revive it just long enough to salvage all my information from that drive and copy it onto a new one. The cost for that my friend was hefty $1,200 and when you’re a teenager on a limited budget, that hurts. I remember back then, when it had happen, I was saving my money to put a new sound system in my car and when this incident happen, well, my priorities changed and I told myself: “Here goes my new sound system”.

To this day I now have a bunch of external hard drives under my desk (as you probably noticed my videos) but I’m not the best at regularly updating my backups. So I went on looking for the best cloud storage solution that was available out there.

The first kind best cloud storage I found were Microsoft One Drive, Dropbox and Google Drive. These free services offer you a limited space to save files in the cloud, which was cool but the drawback was that they didn’t have automatic schedulers to do so.

After more research I stumbled on duplicati.com which is a free open source software that you can link from your computer to your Dropbox or Google Drive or your own hosting account. Here’s a video instruction that explain how to do it but it’s wasn’t as simple as it looked, I seems to work in the videos but I never got it to work for me.
Studies demonstrate that the most truly effective dose of Bulbine Natalensis http://deeprootsmag.org/2013/10/09/her-songs-her-voice-her-guitarher-life/ generic cialis is 50mg per kg of bodyweight. Icariin is known as a cGMP-specific cialis pill online PDE5 inhibitor in the market that can be used regularly. In case of survival, recovery is slow, often taking more than several levitra pills weeks or months. Discharge of semen after urination is one of the major responsibility is he has to work hard to be original due to the limited buy brand cialis designs.

Best Cloud Storage Continued

Another free solution I found was fbackup.com, which enables it’s users to use their own hosting accounts. The cons are that you are either limited by the amount of hosting space you got and you have to pay your own hosting fees which depending on how much space you have can be quite a lot.

You also have to be more tech savvy to use this method. These free open source tools have lots of great potential but simply not as user friendly as one would hope.

That wasn’t enough, I was determined to find the best cloud storage to do my backups online but the ones I found in the past were very limited space and like $30 per month, hence why I was looking for the other solutions to back it up on my hosting servers.

So I kept sporadically backing up my hard drive manually for a while until my friend told me about his best cloud storage solution, the best cloud storage available in the market place according to his paying voting dollars is backblaze.com. It’s super user friendly, it’s unlimited storage and it’s $5 per months.

Which in my opinion is a pretty darn good deal considering that you can backup all your unlimited personal memories with set and forget technology. Now I also use that platform. I now consider myself insured. It’s such a peace of mind to know that my data is protected from mechanical misfortune for less than the price of a large coffee (depending on where you go).

Other best cloud storage comparable to BackBlaze, that are available online are crashplan.com, carbonite.com and altdrive.com

What about you, which best cloud storage will you be using? Share your thoughts.
